Danielle Ingraham, 36, of Evergreen Road, was arrested Monday, March 4, and charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and two counts of cruelty to a child, according to Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw and Mount Laurel Police Chief Timothy Hudnall.

Ingraham was taken into custody at her residence and is being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility in Mays Landing pending a detention hearing in Superior Court in Mount Holly.

The investigation began last week when an infant was taken to a pediatrician for treatment of a bruised eye after being picked up from Ingraham’s home, the prosecutor said. Authorities allege that Ingraham slapped both the infant and a toddler she had been watching at her home daycare.

The case is now being prepared for presentation to a grand jury for possible indictment.

Ingraham's Facebook profile indicates she is a mother of two.

The investigation was conducted by the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office and the Mount Laurel Police Department. Lead investigators are BCPO Detective Michele Ragone and MLPD Detective Matthew O'Hanlon. Ingraham will be prosecuted by the BCPO Special Victims Unit.

Authorities are urging anyone with information about Ingraham or her daycare operation to come forward.
